In John’s words: “When I go to museums and stand before artefacts, I am in awe, yet, I view well-crafted items in our daily lives as equally important. The People’s Museum celebrates objects of people, condensing down the essence of everything in our life, trawling thrift stores and junk shops for textures that speak directly to our hearts.” This work is one of a few that John plans to install across the city, and there is currently a route connected by match box tile installations that visitors can follow. here.
