“I have always used my art to celebrate the seemingly quotidian and prosaic in which I find an inner beauty that only needs to be made visible in order for people to appreciate it. I am drawn to patterns, shapes, color and compositions that are inherent in what I photograph, but not immediately apparent as they are so infinitesimally small the eye cannot discern them. Using 1Mac as my creative tool, I have delved into the most minute of spaces, pried into the tiny, unseen crevices, unearthing the gems within and projecting them onto the grand scale through digital manipulation. It is this process of discovery and revelation that is the basis of my artistic and aesthetic inspiration.”
